                                                      G.M.I.T Day

Our day at the g.m.i.t was great the staff there were class.  The giant Jenga was great craic same with the canoeing.  My favourite was probably the climbing because we could climb all over the walls.  I just wish we could've had longer canoeing.

                                                     My Day at the GMIT

We went to the  G.M.I.T. on Thursday. The activities there were amazing. We did Archery, Kayaking, Rock Climbing and Orienteering around Lough Lannagh. My favourite activity was Kayaking and Rock Climbing. I wasn't really good at the Archery. The Orienteering was good too, but not my favourite part of the day but still quite fun. The best part was when I tipped Calum into the water, but Luke got me back.

                                            GMIT Outdoor Activities

I was at the G.M.I.T. on Thursday last week. We did several activities that were fun. I really liked the kayaking because we were playing around and some of us tipped. Although, I would have liked 2 do the kayaking at the end because I would like to do the best 4 last.  The thing I did not like 2 have done was Orienteering. One person left a clipper in the bushes making it impossible to get. All in all I liked the day.

My favourite activity at the G.M.I.T. was the kayaking. I really enjoyed when people capsized and jumped off. I jumped off myself a it was amazing. My second favourite thing was the climbing because it was really fun and enjoyable. We were playing this game called Shark where you had to get a grip on the wall and stay there for three seconds (more like six =p). after the climbing I liked the archery because I have my own bow at home and really enjoy archery.

What I didn't like was the Orienteering and the Jenga but other wise i loved my day at the G.M.I.T.

What I enjoyed at the G.M.I.T

The G.M.I.T was amazing! It was so fun! On the day we went to the G.M.I.T near the Mayo General Hospital. We had fun activities with the instructors like Kayaking, Rock climbing, Orienteering etc. Unfortunately, we did Kayaking first (Last year we did it last) it's not bad or anything but I like doing that last. Being cold sucked. After that was orienteering, it was fun until I lost the way (Seriously, I've lived here since I was born and I DON'T EVEN KNOW THE WAY AROUND LOUGH LANNAGH.) Long story short, came 2nd last. LOL! It was a long way back but it was worth it.

Our day at the G.M.I.T was great!!! The staff was sound and a bit of craic and a bit of banta. The best thing I thought was the kayaking. But I had to miss out on a few activities because i had to go to a hurling match.Then we came back and played a few games. Then after the tiring day we went back to school.

                                          My Day at the G.M.I.T.

   Our teacher brought ou to the G.M.I.T. All of the activities were very enjoyable. My favourite activity was the rock climbing, it was great fun when everyone fell of the wall when we were playing a game called shark attack, we had to find a spot on the wall to cling to and if you could not find a spot on the wall in three seconds you were out . My second favourite activity was archery, I was not the best but it was still good fun. I really liked the orienteering but I was out of breath from all of the running

Our day was great.The staff was beast and a bit of  banter. we went to kayaking. I jumped in first then my friend James i enjoyed the day when we were orienteering James Mateus and I we went to the park and enjoyed the day i think it was the best day in school.

                                                        G.M.I.T Day

I really liked my time at the G.M.I.T. We all had a great time, everyone was very nice. I loved archery and night line. It was a great way to leave school. We did archery, night line, orienteering and rock climbing. I was paired with Mark in the orienteering and we did twice and won it. We learned a lot.

On the 16/4/15 our 5th and 6th classes went to the GMIT for a day of fun activities. The students in the GMIT provided a great day and lots of really enjoyable activities including kayaking, climbing, archery, games and orienteering. My favourite event was kayaking. The students were great help to putting on equipment. The day was very well organised and the instructors were very nice. The school would definitely go again sometime as it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
